Terms of Service – PassPaperOnes

1. About the App

PassPaperOnes provides students, teachers and schools with exam practice, study resources, assignments, progress tracking and AI-supported feedback for Caribbean examinations, including PEP, CSEC and CAPE.

The App is owned and operated by Makora Learning Ltd.

2. Account Registration

You must create an account to access most features.
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.
Accounts are personal and may not be shared unless access is being managed through an approved school or organization account.
We may suspend accounts that appear to be misused, shared, abused, or used in violation of these Terms.

3. Purchases & Access

Personal plans are priced according to the plan selected at checkout. Current plans may include PEP, CSEC, CAPE, and Plus / AI Review options.
Standard Practice plans provide access to the selected exam-level practice content.
Plus / AI Review plans include the selected exam-level practice content plus access to supported AI review features, such as short-answer feedback where available.
All personal purchases provide 1 year of access from activation unless otherwise stated at checkout.
School, teacher or organization access may be provided under separate arrangements, seat limits, expiry dates, roles and usage rules.
Prices, plan names and included features may change over time. Your active access is based on the plan purchased or assigned to you.

3.B Refund Policy

You may request a full refund within 7 days of purchase.
Refunds are approved only if you have completed fewer than 20 questions in total.
No refunds are provided once an account has been substantially used, abused, shared, or used in a way that violates these Terms.
No refunds are provided during final exam rush periods where this is stated on the site, at checkout, or in direct communication.
Manual payment refunds may require verification of the payment source and may take additional processing time.

4. AI Review and Feedback

AI-supported review features are designed to provide study support, feedback and guidance. AI feedback may not always be perfect and should not be treated as an official examination mark.

AI review is a study aid, not an official marking service.
Students should review feedback carefully and consult teachers where needed.
We may limit AI usage to protect system performance, cost and fair access.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the App, including questions, answers, explanations, text, images, software, workflows, analytics and AI-generated feedback formats, is the property of Makora Learning Ltd. or its licensors.

You may not copy, scrape, resell, redistribute, publicly post, reproduce or share App content outside the platform. Content is licensed to you for personal, educational, non-commercial use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

6. User Responsibilities

You agree not to attempt to cheat, hack, scrape, overload, reverse engineer, or misuse the App.
You may not upload offensive, unlawful, harmful, misleading or inappropriate material.
You may not share login credentials or allow unauthorized users to access your account.
Teachers and schools must respect student privacy and use platform data responsibly.
Users must not use AI review features to generate harmful, abusive, unlawful or dishonest content.

7. Teacher and School Access

Teachers and schools may receive access to assignment workflows, dashboards, student completion summaries and performance insights. Access may depend on approval, role, organization membership and active plan status.

Teachers must only use student data for legitimate educational purposes.
Schools must ensure that authorized users access only the data they are permitted to view.
We may remove teacher or school access if misuse is detected.

8. Disclaimer

Makora Learning Ltd. and PassPaperOnes are not affiliated with the Caribbean Examinations Council (CXC), the Ministry of Education, or any official examination body unless explicitly stated.

We do not guarantee exam results. The App is a study aid and revision platform, not a substitute for official exam preparation, school instruction, official syllabuses, or teacher guidance.

9. Limitation of Liability

Makora Learning Ltd. is not responsible for loss of data, interruptions, technical issues, user mistakes, exam outcomes, or reliance on platform content as official examination guidance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our maximum liability to any user will not exceed the amount paid by that user for the service.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the App, attempt unauthorized access, share credentials, abuse AI features, or infringe our intellectual property.

Termination does not cancel our ownership of content, your prior payment obligations, or our right to protect the platform.

11. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the updated Terms.

Privacy Policy – PassPaperOnes

1. Information We Collect

Account details, such as your name, email address, username and password.
Course progress, quiz attempts, scores, submissions, assignment activity and study history.
Teacher, school or organization membership details where applicable.
Payment records, plan type and transaction status. Payment details are processed securely through third-party providers.
Technical information such as device, browser, IP address, logs and usage activity needed for security and performance.

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide access to courses, quizzes, assignments and AI-supported review features.
To track learning progress, completion activity and performance summaries.
To support teacher assignment workflows and school dashboards where applicable.
To process payments, manual receipts, plan activations and account records.
To improve the App, fix errors, protect security and develop new features.
To communicate with you about your account, support requests, payments or important platform updates.

3. Student, Teacher and School Data

Students can access their own account, practice activity and results.
Teachers may view assignment-related information for students who complete their assigned activities.
Schools or organization administrators may view usage, completions and performance summaries for linked users where access has been approved.
We aim to limit school visibility to educationally useful summaries and avoid unnecessary exposure of private student responses.

4. AI Review Data

If you use AI-supported review features, your submitted answers and related question data may be processed to generate feedback, marks, explanations or study guidance.

AI review is used to support learning and feedback.
We may store AI review results to show progress, history and improvement.
We may use aggregated or anonymized usage patterns to improve the service.

5. Sharing of Data

We do not sell or rent your personal data. Limited information may be shared with trusted services only as needed to operate the App.

Payment processors for online or manual payment handling.
Cloud hosting, database, storage, analytics, logging and email providers.
AI service providers where AI review features are used.
Schools, teachers or organization administrators where your account is linked to an approved organization.
Legal or regulatory authorities if required by law.

6. Data Security

We use reasonable security practices to protect your account and data, including authentication, access controls, logging and secure third-party services. However, no system is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Data Retention

We keep your data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services, maintain records, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes and protect the platform.

If you close your account, some records may be retained for legitimate business, accounting, security or legal purposes.

8. Your Choices

You may contact us to request account support or correction of account information.
You may request deletion of your account, subject to legitimate retention needs.
You may stop using the App at any time.

9. Children and Students

PassPaperOnes may be used by students, including school-aged learners. Where access is arranged by a parent, teacher or school, that party is responsible for ensuring appropriate permission and supervision.

10. Updates to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Continued use of the App after updates means you accept the updated Policy.
